I tried installing the software that came along with Linksys WUSB54G v2.0 wireless adapter but the installation would stop as soon as it reaches 25%. How come I am not able to install?
Should I go back to win xp 32 bit?

there no driver support for the wusb54g v2.0 for windows xp64. If you could find a wusb 54g v4, their are hacked drivers on planetamd64.com to work with windows xp64.

I recommend going with this device if you are going to continue to use xp64

linksys wireless g ethernet bridge

it doesnt require any drivers at well. It can be a little hassle to setup though, but it'll work once you get the ip setting, wep,wpa setting correct and etc. If you were to log on to the box through it ip address, their an option in the menu, that'll search for any wireless signal. You can select your's. (It's called site survey)

you can find it on newegg for about $90
