I am not sure if anyone here remembers the "Battle in Seattle" but we are comming up on the anniversary of it. From what I have heard there are planns for another protest. Personally I think it is getting rather pathetic. There is a lot of talk arround here about "are we prepared", "will there be more looting",ect. I really don't want it to happen again, especailly because I now work in the heart of Downtown Seattle.

I don't mind the protest but it is those idiots who come down to see if the cops are going to do anything. These people account for 75% of the mob. Any thoughts

Yeah I agree with azazyel, this looting and rioting sh|t is pretty immature. They did it last year and accomplished nothing.

yet it is most likely going to happen again. There are cops all over downtown seattle right now. It was weird, there were at least one cop per block.
