are there any outdoor maps, cause the enemies aren't scary anymore, just annoying.
corridors are also getting very boring rather then scary

That's the entire game.

There's 4 outdoor bits IIRC, although 2 of those are the same map but in different directions. None of them last long. When I went to replay D3 recently, I felt smothered by the tight claustrophobic levels, dark lighting/palette etc. HL2 is like Disneyland in comparison, except there's less crashes in the theme park.

You need PPE as there is no atmosphere to support your ass if you go outside. Sorry.

yea, you might die if u go outside

If you weren't aware, it's based on another planet. You have to collect oxygen canisters to stay alive when you're outside.

yea i've already done that, it's really dumb. an oxygen canister the size of a scuba gear tank only lasts like a min

no, the point of my comment is that if you were in that situation IRL you'd die INSIDE as well... :/

From the lack of air? I guess you're meant to assume the base you're running round in has life support.

Actually, I just thought of something... When you arrive and get off the transport ship, you're not wearing a helmet. No-one is apart from the guard who tells you to go inside. I think if you look up you can see the outside world. Been a while since I saw that but I don't remember seeing any doors opening and closing, or some kind of magical forcefield that'd maintain the atmosphere.

Either I'm remembering things wrong/missing the point , or there's a bit of a problem 😕

also when u go outside where theres no oxygen, the outside conditions must be like subzero in the shadows and over 200degrees F in the sunlight, either way wen ur holding a gun ur hands are bare
