OK when I do a trade I make sure speed(shipping, payment ect) is priority one. I did a deal with a guy and he had more feedback(different site) and I sent first. He received the item and didn't even acknowledge it until a day later and only until I asked, he then said he would test it out tomorrow(2 days after receiving). That next day goes by and he still didn't test it out, only until the following day and then he finally paid...WTF. I would never do that to someone I'm trading with, am I just being dramatic or is this sorta bullshit?

Life happens. Take a deep breathe. Three or maybe four days is not the end of the world.

If said trader has time to get on the internet and forums I think they could take a moment to verify a product

I wouldn't do that but it's not entirely unreasonable. Next time, set better rules/expectations if it's that big a deal. In other words, communicate your end of the deal. 🙄

I performed a similar type of trade, and immediately tested the item when received as I felt it was pretty much standard. I know I sure wouldn't want to send off an item and be waiting 3-4 days, thinking I may have been conned.

But, at least it was 3-4 days and not 2-4 weeks. Annoyed, yes. I don't think I'd knock the guy's heat though.

Happened to me on ebay, this dude bought a supper shitty laptop from me for $80 and opted by buyer's protection. So I could not be paid until he left a positive feedback. UPS would not leave it on his curb (maybe he lived in a shitty hood) and he kept whining that the UPS location was 30 miles from his house and work, finally picked up on the last day (UPS does not hold for more than 7 days) then he disappeared for another week, did not reply to my email and never left the positive feedback, after about another week he finally posted the feedback and I got the money... a-hole
