WTH? Why are my IE icons so big?

I don't know what happened, but I can't seem to fix it. Anyone? The standard buttons are freaking huge all of a sudden and no idea why?

IE buttons

1. Right click on any of the buttons
2. Select 'customize'
3. Where it says Icon options, select Small Icons

Some icons make the whole bar big like that...odd. Get rid of the aim and see what happens.

Using norton 2003, updates everytime one is available, runs twice a week.

just right click on the toolbar to go to the menu where you change all that crap. you can take off the text labels, too.
