I used to have clean short haircut. about 3inches long..

Just a week ago, I shaved my head.. just to give it a new look for the summer.. and my hair is about 1/10th of an inch now..

and the problem is I HAVE DANDRUFF NOW!! I've never had them severly like this before! I always wash my hair everyday but this does not go away as soon as the hair (if there is any) dries..

It's itchy as hell too.. what is this? Why am I all of a sudden having dandruff? it's driving me nuts.. I think shaving my head = irriated my scalp??

musssst.. buy.. head & shoulders... (pantene doesn't cut it)

now I understand why those kids with dirty hair scratch their head so much... yuk..

Depends on the time of the year. I get it pretty bad in the winter when the humidity is really low and even the skin on my arms starts getting all scaley. A week or two of head and shoulders should take care of it.

Once you get it whipped. Use the dandruff shampoo twice a week and you should be good to go.

Try using lotion. It worked for me when I had my head shaved.

The reason why your hair itches when it hasn't been washed for awhile isn't dandruff, it's yeast.

This problem is normal when you shave your head I'm pretty sure because of the sun and drying of the scalp because there is no hair to give it shade plus less oil..
Anyway get some Neutrogena T-Gel.. that stuff works wonders and it smells good to women too.. don't ask me tho because I think it smells strange myself..

You might have psoriasis perhaps.. it is very possible.. either way T-Gel'll kill it..

Ewwwww!!! T-Gel. It's tar! Yes tar! That's what the "T" stands for. Just go rub your head on some freshly tar'd blacktop why don't you.

Maybe it's not dandruff, maybe it's lice. And those white flakes falling out of your hair aren't really flakes, their lice eggs.

I also got a similar case of Scalp Dermatitis a few months ago. A deromologist perscribed a topical medication that cleared the itching. A week of Head and Shoulders cleared it up quickly. If the flaking gets bad and dandruff shampoo doesn't help, see a doctor.
