WTH......new email dated from 2001!

OK, so, I am in my email. It says I have 1 new email. OK, it's not showing. Ummm, where is it? I keep a lot of my emails from my business. I am in my email box over a dozen times a day easy, I don't miss anything. I have about 160 pieces of email. Puzzled as to where that email is, and why it isn't showing, for the hell of it, I decide to go to the last page on my email. There it was.

It's a junk piece of email, somehow got through the filter. The subject reads. Mortgage News Update. Except there is one small question on that piece of email. OK, what threw me on it was the date. It was dated. Jan 02, 2001 What the............😵

Did it take all that time to get to me? Did someone alter the date on it? Why ask why?
Because I found this totally strange to get a piece of email dated from 2001.
 
someone's clock is changed. or they changed the header info. somethign like that. spammer do the same thing but forwarddate rather than backdate.

we get stuff like that where i work through our isp. maybe like a few days old, never years though, lol

Could be, I just found it funnier en hell, dated 2001. LOL. 😀
