WTH is wrong with my IE + ZoneAlarm?

It uses 60-90% of my system resources for no apparent reason, even after i restart!

ok i just found the problem, EVERY time i use Zonealarm, my IE becomes system resource hog. btw, i'm using the newer version of zone alarm, the old one doesn't have any problem.

when you only have 16mb of ram 60-90% isnt that much

Do you have the privacy features enabled? The same problem happened to mine, and disabling both cookie control and ad blocking fixed everything. It's basically 2.6 with a different interface now. I don't understand why ZoneLabs would try to get into ad/cookie blocking when they are known for making the best firewall. Maybe to help justify paying for the Pro version?? I paid for 2.6 and didn't need that crap. Ah well, rant off.

You think thats' bad? Try running ZAP 3 on WinXP with Norton AV 2K2.😱 It seems there's a slight bug caused by ZAP3; if you attempt to have simultanious users(using fast user switching in lieu of loging out to get to another account), logging out a user besides the first one will result in ZAP killing NAV, and killing Windows in turn.:|
