WTH is wrong with 7th heaven?

My wife watches every episode of 7th heaven. I do not know WTH is wrong with the lives of the characters in 7th heaven. In the few episodes I have watched, I have never seen them happy. Either a boyfriend is dumped or a stranger moves into the house. The children do not have anything to do in their life except for talking about girlfriends and boyfriends. The mother is always whining about her problems and the father is always getting into problems. 😀

I hate that show.
Although I must admit even the younger daughter has been looking hot as of late.
The women thrive on the drama.
 
That show is just typical christian pablum. It is also fuzzy-feel-good preachy nonsense.

I can't stand that show.

 
it was a good show a few years back, when the kids were younger. the series is ending soon, though, isn't it? that's why jessica biel returned to the show--for lucy's wedding.

yeah, i know, eh. i recently started watching a few episodes again and did the o my gawd thing too. she's getting married to a cop.

incidentally, some of the 7th heaven folks were on an episode of 'trading spaces' last week. yes, i like that show! 😛
 
My wife watches that show too. I've seen more than a few episodes as a result. It's not the worst show on tv but I don't care much for it. OTOH, I like 'The Gilmore Girls'. I'm not a fanatic about it (like Enterprise, or, The Dead Zone, or Malcolm in the Middle), but, I do enjoy that one. Definitely in the Top 10 progs I like to watch.

sounds like a soap opera, I don't see how people can watch theses stupid shows that make out every stupid aspect of life to be some sort of drama, and like 95% of the time the people are sad, or mad, or whatever, you hardly ever see any happy people. I read somewhere this has a negative effect on people because their lives are so boring compared to these TV people that are always stressing about stupid crap. turn off the tv.
