She smoked while mixing the icing for a cake. One hand with a cigarette while the other held the electric beater.

She is having an affair with a guy who is married and also happens to be from a difference race. Excuse the racial remark, but I'm trying to paint the picture.She is not currently married, however the man she is with, is married.

She drinks 4-5 days out of the week and goes to work with a hangover.

She argued with her boss and almost got fired.

She overcooks chicken.

I mean... I might as well stick her in a trailer park all ready. Is this suppose to be a mid-life crisis?

Sounds like you have children of your own, so I'll assume you are an adult. Stay away from her life! Let her make her own mistakes, do not pressure her into anything, because everything will be your fault.
 
I think she needs some help. The chicken is excusable. Going to work hungover, however, she needs to work on. She also needs to work on not seeing married men.
