WTH is this? (cs/hl related) problem with WON.net?

so i'm going though a pretty good game on aztec and my comp craps out, end up restarting it and going back into the server and in the console i get this

"trying to authenticate with WON servers..."
"the server requires that you be vaildated though WON.net"
"could not obtain WON authentication"

whats going on? i've tried just about everything that i know to do, swapped config files, reinstalled, nothing seems to be working. help!

ok, it's not just me... a few other friends are having the same problems...

won.net servers down? anyone know?

Whenever it tells me that I quit out to the menu that says Play Online, and click Play Online again. That way it reconnects to WON and re-authenticates ya. I think...

nope it's not working, tried it on my other comp, using a different won id.... no go

a few others i know are having the same problem... must be a WON.net thing... :| for dumb i wanna frag!

Try another server. Either that or the authentication servers are down.

tried a few servers... never heard of a problem like this before.. i'm sure it happens though. **shucks** i was looking forward to some quality gaming before i hit the hay.

i've been looking around on the web and can't find any info. i'm not sure if their is a actual WON.net but if there is it isn't working and there are more poeple out tthere having the problem... go to bed and it'll be fixed by the time your up and have enough motivation to turn on your computer and play cs.

if i do find soemthing before i leave, i'll post it
