WTH is this A8V delux?

I think I am paying the price for going cheap. Just got my A8V delux from chiefvalue.com today and snapped this guy with new AMD 300+ s939 chip. Post is fine, so is hardware detection, however it can not read any of my DVDROMs (one BenQ, one Plextor) when it come to install OS. The damn mobo goes to the old bootdrive and windows xp expectedly hangs up even after stating a safe mode boot. I am wondering where is the problem? Please folks help me out or it will 15% restocking fee, 5 bucks shipping and 7 days of waiting.

stupid me! was trying to install winxp with an office xp cd for the last 2 hour. My God! Garikfox, I will let u know the final result after abt 20 mins.

Wow, A8v rocks. 4.662MB/S memory read speed, 61ns memory latency. I am impressed.

Yeee0 What program are you using to get the latency? I'm getting 6.7gb on my evga board but dunno what the latency is; it'd be nice to test. FYI, i just sold my A8V but i had it running some xms LL memory @ 229 2-2-2-5-1T dual channel and i got ~6400mb from that.

Just sold it to my brother and upgraded to PCI-E/7800 gt from my old a8v agp/6800
