I'd never heard of this until yesterday. How could this have slipped by me? Where is some good info on this and when will it be released? There is a useless page about it on the honda.com site...

Hey that name is already a registered trademark! Course I'd be happy to sell it to Honda for a nominal fee. Say $5 billion USD or so.

Sorry element®, but Honda's eIement is spelled with a capital "i" in place of your lowercase "L" to avoid any copywrite infringements :p see? it looks the same ;)

It?s supposed to a kind of tall wagon-SUV type vehicles for 20-somethings who are into ?active recreation.? The interior has a lot of useful features, but the plastic on the outside is revoltingly repugnant.

I guess it's cool if you have no aesthetic sensibility. In yet another Honda pricing ?wha?,? the Element will probably only be about $1000 less than a nice, normal looking, and still useful CRV.

Saw three commercials for this thing on TV. ITs comming out next month, it actually doesnt look to bad, slap on some aftermarket accesories and it might actually look kind of cool.

The nice part about that car is lack of a B-pillar. The rear doors open suicide style. Makes loading the car a breeze:D

all i know is that when i went to test drive the Pilot the guy said they will probably only get a few per dealership. He didn't seem too excited about them.

Smallest. Monstrosity. Ever.

BTW: I dont know about you guys, but my dealer has like 10-15 pilots on the lot. I'm told theyve been selling like hotcakes.

Suicide doors have the hinges towards the back of the vehicle instead of towards the front as normal.
So they swing the other way.

Which will be perfect timing since I'll no longer be upside down on my Civic. Although it does seem kind of unfortunate to trade a Civic in for......a Civic........
But it's just so cool when you're an outdoorsy 20-something....

I'm oddly attracted to it. Would make a good "useful" car. But damnit that 2 tone plastic exterior thing is ugly.
