And I was using the F@H site, which should be real-time stats, the the extreme OC stats. What am I missing ? Did I get credit ?

I seem to recall reading in another thread (about WU count going up but points not) that there are some temporary "overflow" servers which take WUs but don't give credit instantly. Don't worry, you will get credit eventually.

It can take more than an hour for points to increase at the F@H stats page. It is not real time.

There is a Collection Server. If the server that the WU is supposed to go to is down or busy after two or three tries, the version 5 client will send the WU to the Collection Server. It will take much longer for the points to get added to the stats.

If you add the -verbosity 9 flag your log will give much more info, including the IP address of the server.

I would guess that it went to the correct server though, because it does not show a failure to connect and a re-try.

If it does not show up on the stats in an hour or two make sure you repost, so we can troubleshoot further.

Thanks

Thanks Gleem, but as many machines as I have, its hard to track every unit, but this looked like a biggie. Is that true ? 100 or so points showed up an hour later. Is that right for that sized unit ?

The server doens't provide real time stats - have a look at the 'last updated' time on the stats page - it is rarely quite current (though usually not more than an hour behind).

Overflow servers might also explain the delay.

I don't know what size unit it was. It was taking less than four minutes per frame which would be about six hours to finish. If you can get 160 ppd from your CPU that WU would be about 40 points.

In the log file, at the point where the WU started, you will see a line like this:

[06:51:37] Project: 1301 (Run 913, Clone 0, Gen 6)

that tells you the project number, in this case - 1301

look here - http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html - for the number to find out how many points it is worth.
