WTH did Task Manager Go?!

Ok, I'm getting sick of this WinXP BS and getting ready to switch back to 2k. Where the hell did my task manager go?! If I ctrl+alt+del it only brings up the apps list, not the whole thing (network usage, processes, and users). I am still logged in as an administrator so what the hell happened to it and how do I get it back?

On another question, how do I tell My Documents to move to another drive?

Not sure about your TaskManager prob, but if you right click on My Documents on the desktop and go to Properties, you can change the directory for the My Documents 🙂

Edit: Just a thought, if you don't have anything but the list of apps on TaskManager, try double clicking on an empty grey part

OMFG. :Q :| 😕 :disgust:
You have no idea how entirely pissed that makes me at windows right now. Why couldn't they just come out and say that in help?!?!

Heh. The GoodRevrnd is being a BadRevrnd 'cause he be cussin'! 😀

It might amuse you to know that the Task Manager in Win2K behaves the same. Just think how PO'd you'd have been if you had switched back and had the same thing happen again!!! :Q

Hey you said cntrl-alt-del, doesnt that only get you to that menu with logoff and stuff. Cntrl-shft-esc goes straight to task manager.

Sounds like the GoodRevrnd is using the Welcome Screen. When you have the system set up to use that for logon then you get Task Manager right away when you hit the <Ctrl>-<Alt>-<Del> key combo.
