Totally a WTF movie. I definitely enjoyed it a lot except I don't fully understand what's going on. Here are some Qs:

1. Out of all people, what makes john malkovich vulnerable to control? While we're in his sub-conscious, we see that he had a pretty disturbed childhood but the movie never explains why malkovich is suspectible to control...

2. Who created the portal?

3. What happened in the end? Why did all the old people decided to get into JM's mind? What happened to the daughter of Maxine? How is she controlled by Cusack?

it was a messed up flick - just watched it last week myself. funny at times though. i didn't read into it that much so i can't really comment on the philosophical side of it, if any.

It's ok if you don't get it, it's ok. It's a movie after all, it's not suppose to make any sense.
