so I walk out of work tonight, go to my car, and discover that the passenger side window was smashed and there are dents all over the car (even more than the ones I've put there myself in various accidents and parking mishaps).

the wierd thing? they didn't take anything.

ipod on the glove compartment? still there.

$20 bill and roll of quaters in the ash tray? still there.

ezpass? still there.

:confused:

wtfbbq. I could understand if they broke into the car to take something, but they didn't (and my radio is non-removeable without serious amounts of work and mechanical skill).

Probably a grudge against you or something.

If I had a grudge against someone I'd steal everything they had out of their car.

what kind of car?

1996 Ford Escort. I was planning on getting a new car within the next two months anyways, which is why I'm not terribly upset.

I'm going to rule out the grudge... the people at work who dislike me weren't working today (and would have had ample opportunity to do this before now), and the people in my personal life who dislike me don't know where I work :)

unless they've been following me... :paranoid;

maybe they had an accident in front your car and didn't want to pay for the damages and ran away.
