from the team stats page.

Is there always such a difference?

OK: It seems that a few ID's have been retired to the SC that had been on other teams. Also, some members are flushing directly to d.net rather than thru the proxy which makes Mika's stats off even more.

Dennis (Ray...) uses the TeAm list for this Milestone listing.

Both these stats are from Dnets pages---dated current as of 1/12/01!?!?

Nothing is mikas stats as i realize those would be different from Dnets.

wellckys' stats are the same for both locations-- thats why i question the discrepancy in the Seti Cavarly stats🙁

Orange Kid,

If an individual cracked blocks for another team prior to joining Team AnandTech, those blocks would still be in their total, but not the team's. So, if they retired their eMail in to the mini team, the same thing happens.

For example, TA Cube has over 21 million at Dnet, but 19 million shows for TA:

21,578,243 (Dnet)
19,302,400 (Team AnandTech)

Btw if anyone is interested the Seti Cavalry stats for yesterday:

21,021 blocks were completed yesterday (0.00003059% of the keyspace)
at a sustained rate of 65,310 KKeys/sec! Ranked 241 for the day.

This is about 69% of the rate of this participant's best day ever, which was
27-Oct-2000 when 30,622 blocks were completed at a rate of 95,139 KKeys/sec.

This was good enough for us to place 8th in the team dailies.🙂

<Russ> I've retired my old email account into wellcky's(some time ago) and there is no dicrepancy there--also my old user base and all info has disappeared from Dnets site.

I'm just wondering if we have an accountability error here?

Looks to me as if you've lost 2 million+ blocks!?!?

Edit-- or is it my old account blocks that are lost!?!?!

Orange Kid,

There would only be a discrepency if you had been a member of another team prior to Team AnandTech.

In our case, we have an Integral (LANMAN I think), who was cracking for another team, then joined Team AnandTech. The old team keeps the blocks that he cracked until he left, Team AnandTech gets the blocks since he joined, and all are credited to him.

Let's say Joe Blow was a member of slashdot. For them he cracked 500K blocks. Then he gets smart, and joins Team AnandTech. Since joining TA, he has cracked 1.5 million blocks.

He would have 2 million on his individual stats page, but in the participants page for Team AnandTech, he would only have 1.5 million.

Me thinks I am seeing the light now.

Thanks for the explanation.

I'm just looking for any way to keep an edge on the DPC🙂

Thanks for the help there Russ! I thought I was being clear.

blade_47: Yep, the Cav is kicking butt! We were about 30th overall on the TeAm stats. I feel that we are making a significan contribution! Go TeAm!! 🙂😀
