My History teacher told me today that zeus was not as angelic as he was portrayed in Disney movie....in reality he was said to have slept with 74 or 76 people/animals.

He supposedly slept with women, men, animals, little boys, and little girls :Q!!!

EDIT: I'm talking about the god

I suppose he's the head god, he can dow whatever he likes :p

hahah Greek Mythology is freakign insane and perverted more than any Hollywood movie could dream off.
Took several classes on it in college... crazy sh!t those Greeks beleived.

No biggie, everyone did back then. It's only modern puritan enforced idea's that put such a stigma on these things.

Hopefully you don't also believe Disney's portrayal of Pocohantas, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and all the other changes in mythology and history that they do.

Just saying until this century the average age of consent and often marriage was 13-16. Homosexuality and bisexuality was predominant in Roman and Greek history, as well as many if not most other cultures throughout time. Beastiality, well ok, that's always been looked at with a snigger I think, but it's happened forever.

It's only the strong attempts to enforce morality in the Western Hemisphere (especially America because of its puritan foundations) that have forced these things to become fetishes of the underground. Not that 13yr olds should be having kids, because there really are health concerns...but seriously 90% of America are ignorant prudes.

i dont think that was such a big deal with the greeks, they were very very very very very very very liberal about sexuality
