I'm calm...I'm calm...<taking a deep breath>.
I had a 4 port hub where 2 computers hooked to it (one is NT Server and the other is NT Workstation). The cable modem was hooked to the uplink of the hub. I used special software to share internet connection to the 2 computers (All Aboard 2.2).
All was fine until this.....
I bought a D-Link 5 port 10/100 Auto Switching (DSS-5+) which is an advanced form of a hub, right?
I plugged the 2 computers's cat5 cables to #1 and #2 port. I plugged the cable modem connection to the uplink. I see a light coming on saying that the Full Duplex/100Mbps was working.
The problem is I can't make any connection to the internet and each computers refused to transfer any files.
What did I do wrong?
