WTF :|

"I didn't know they would die"

Her charges were reduced to involuntary manslaughter.....15 years. F*** that, she should get life. Her two kids died and she lied about it to save her own ass. :|

Some choice quotes:

"I didn't know (was too stupid to know) that they would die," Maynor wrote in a statement to Southfield Police Detective Chris Helgert. "I didn't want them to die." (she's a f****** college student at University of Michigan Dearborn-campus)

"While her kids were dying in the afternoon heat, Maynor was getting a massage, trying on a sundress and having her hair relaxed, shampooed, trimmed and blown dry, according to testimony." 3 and a half f****** hours

"she left the salon to buy a soft drink and snack at a convenience store in the high-rise, she never went out to check on her kids, salon employees told the court. She never mentioned them." :|

"Utopia beauty salon co-owner Karl Reed said kids are welcomed into his shop every day."

"When Maynor found her children dead in the car, she drove around for hours concocting a story of abduction and rape, Helgert said."

She should be put in a damn car for 3 and half hours in the friggin heat. People like that should never have kids in the first place. :|

UofM dearborn isnt selective like UofM. It's one step above community college.

Yeah, but my point is, she can't plead ignorance......

I think she could. You would be amazed at the "students" going there.

That makes me so angry what happened to those children!

I've got two of my own very close in age to hers and I won't even leave them in my car if I am grabbing a soda in a 7-11. I always want them with me.

I hope those images of her dead children with vomit and foam in their mouths stays with her the rest of her life.

Jokes aside, if she's intelligent enough to goto any sort of college, she should be held accountable for her actions. Trying to get public sympathy by saying, "I didn't know they'd die" or "I was just stupid" should only be held against her.

I'm not defending her, i'm just saying that being a college student does not automatically mean she has common sense or morals or foresight.

I understand what you're saying.

It just makes me so mad, that she should get anything less than life in prison 🙁

For many people who do this, I believe that their guilt and loss is enough punishment, but this lady needs to be put away.

In contrast there was a veterinarian who forgot to drop his infant off at daycare. He didn't realize his son was in the car until he stopped at the daycare after work to pick his son up. Police charged him and released him. The wife was afraid he would commit suicide so he was put on suicide watch. Not sure how they are doing now.
