My coworker just alerted me to the fact that it was snowing outside. So I looked out expecting the occasional snowflake to flutter gracefully through the air before gently setting down on a freshly bloomed daffodil petal.

Nope - its thousands of giant angry fucking snow flakes hell bent on causing death and destruction.

Sorry about that. I took my snow brush out of the car and put the snow thrower into the back of the shed and got the mower out.

Meh, at least we have more water than we know what to do with...

Yeah it's been a little cooler lately (I'm in SE Michigan, Ann Arbor). Driving to work this morning I noticed snow flakes. WTF MAN

April snows bring May snows.

Storm blew through here yesterday that brought a little bit of sleet. Unusual for late April but not unheard of. No snow though. We had such a nice weekend, now temperatures have dropped back below seasonal.

EDIT: And I just looked outside and it's snowing. F-you Michigan sending your garbage up here.

I need some solid 75+ degree days or I'm going to go crazy. These past 2 years have been brutally cold.

It was 39 deg when I left my house this morning, but it felt warmer than that.

Pansies need to deal with it.

Pretty nice around here, isn't it?

Its never nice around you - thats why your neighbors would rather be dead than put up with you

Yeah well you guys did a shitty job being our hat and keeping us warm this year so this is what you get

what the hell is that stuff?

looks weird.

We have so much spare water that we have to freeze it and store it on our lawns

Obligatory "it's 75 and overcast here in Florida today... brrrr" post. We may have gators and face eating zombies, but fuck April (or any other month) snow.

And here in Atlanta we're having a bit of what Michigan might call "a dusting" today. Though here it's pollen instead of snow.

Dear Michigan,

Please send us your water. We will take it in whatever form you can send our way.

Thanks in advance.

Only if you trade us some warm weather for it. I'd love to see you guys deal with -10 degrees.

I heat with coal. There is no, "just barely keep the place warm." Works great when it's 20 below zero. But, when the temperatures outside hit 70 a week or so ago, I unplugged the coal stove.

And, it started getting colder outside. I dug my heals in. Nope. No way. Nuh uh. I'm not lighting the coal stove again. (pain in the neck to do.) 52 in the house this morning. And, the occasional snow flake outside. I *hated* this winter.

I'm going fishing tonight in my kayak - do life jackets fit over winter jackets???
