Mentioned on the other thread, I've been downloading some new kind of music. Mostly in Classical area (movie soundtracks, timeless classicals, etc)

Now my complaint is why do all these non-mainstream mp3s have such LOW volume output!? It's so irritating having to crank up the volume to listen and then have my ears blown up when I return to other mp3s.

It doesn't depend on the bitrate. All my mp3s are 160kps or higher (usually 192kps) but the volume output on these mp3s are horrendously low.. What prog can I use to fix this?

Let me check the classical cd's that I purchased to see if they are indeed lower. Give me a few minutes.

lol he probably has the films so its alright..lol..j/k

You will have to get a program to turn it in to a wav and then edit the sound level in a program. You can use the stuff that comse with your soundblaster card if you have on to do this I think. I'm sure I messed about with it once.

You cn try the WinOnCd edit thing before you burn the mp3 to cd. You can edit the sound level I think. Not sure but it has a few options for stuff.......

Classical music recordings are, for the most part, at a lower volume than things like pop or rock. There are exceptions, of course, but typically these recordings will require you to turn up your speakers.
