WTF: Why is my mobo alarming?

I checked the cpu fan and it's still spinning so wtf. It keeps going on and off then on again.

It really doesn't helpthat you didn't post what motherboard you have AND it's in the wrong forum :p

It's an old gigabyte mobo. I don't remember teh model #. I just pulled the speaker connector out.

You Could be a bit more descriptive, that would help much more than the vague description you have given. Anyways the beeps are dianostic and warning codes. It means somthing is wrong, so count the number and duration of the beeps to find out what they mean. As for your fan, be more descriptive in what is happening.

It just sounded like a siren. It would go off for a while than stop than continue a little later. I'm pretty sure it's set to go off in the bios after it reaches a certain temperature. The computer still works so I'll just disable it.

Well, looking at the number of posts you have, I'll assume you just don't want to be bothered, and that it's a computer you're ready to throw away. The only question remaining is why did you post in the first place? (Unless all of your ~12,000 posts are similar to this one).
