Its not even that hot outside! Only 84...pretty hot, but not TOO bad. But I take a 2 min walk outside, and I come back, and I am drenched. Noone else sweats like this, but unless I'm under constant fan or AC I'm sweating like a dog.

For example, by the time I started writing this post, about a minute ago, I was nice and dry from basking in front of the fan for a while. By now, the beads are beginning to form. And of course, theres no AC anywhere in my entire dorm room building.

What can I do to get some rest from this, other than go somewhere with AC? Someone told me I have some sort of overactive metabolism or something, anyone know if theres a medical basis behind this or something?

Geez, about to go take my 4th shower of the day....

Ditto here. I'm a pretty heavy sweatter. I think its partially psychological. I worried about sweating, therefore I sweat like nuts. Now I am more lax and find myself to be much drier. Also switched from Old Spice high endurance to Speed Stick Ultimate.

edit, I'm not fat either, obo 180lb at 5'11"

Nope. I work out almost every day, except days like this where breathing makes me sweat. And I'm not under any stress either.

I think you mean pigs...cuz dogs don't sweat...they pant like mad to keep cool.

Also, maybe taking that many showers might not help since you're just pretty much "remoistening" your skin making it feel more humid and thus sweating more.

Try using some paper towels or something and just keep wiping off the sweat.

...and are you sure you're not a fat pig who doesn't get exercise?

Maybe the showers arent the best idea, but nothing feels better to me than a nice cool shower. Sigh...I cant wait for the winter. I love the winter. I hate the summer.

I'm 6' 2", 205lbs. Not a fat pig.

Besides, like you said, I'm sweating like a dog, so theres obviously something wrong with me. :D

You know, I used to use speed stick and never noticed sweating being a problem. I switched to old spice high endurance when it first came out several years ago, and now I have the same problem you do. It's not really hot in my apartment now, but damn it if my skin isnt clammy. Getting in my hot car after work and driving home gets me sweating too. I'm not out of shape by any means, I'm in the gym daily. According to my BMI I'm overweight (I'm 6"4, 220lbs) but there's really no way I can lose weight without losing muscle mass, and I'm not going to do that. I weighed the reccomended weight once for my height, and I was a frikken stick. Not going back to that again :) I'll just accept the fact that the calculators are all wrong for me :)

I'll switch back to speed stick and see if that makes a difference. Who knows, maybe my body doesn't like the old spice.
