Why the hell did they beat the 1st base coach up for? This was on Sportscenter.

White Sox vs. Kansas City. These two shirtless fans rushed the field and beat the sh!t out of the first base coach of KC. The KC bench then beat the sh!t out of them. So weird.

the yankees used to have specialty "fight bats" so that they wouldn't hurt their regular bats :)

I saw this during Baseball Tonight almost immediately after it occurred. The host was shocked and Peter Gammons was basically saying "stay the hell off the field." It was really weird.

ESPN reported them as being father and son. Nice. Fvcking idiots. Why do I have a feeling that alcohol will somehow be involved?

I really wished they would have kept rolling the tape. I was hoping to see the morons getting their asses handed to them by the entire KC bench.

Wow, now that gives a new definition to the old tradition of a father bringing is young son to the ballpark for a day of father-son bonding. Funny, when my dad brought me to my first baseball game, it didn't involve a drunken, shirtless assault on a coach from the opposing team.

Umm... I know they had to show it, but doesn't doing so just encourage more people to rush the field, knowing they'll get on tv? I mean, that blonde chick who came out for Derek Jeter even got an interview from the local news ! WTF ?!

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the Kansas City coach was ambushed by a bare-chested father and his juvenile son who ran out of the seats.

Talk about your quality family time. Hey, they were just out for a little father-son bonding. Who knew it would involve handcuffs?

"Hey son, how about going to a baseball game tonight. We can roll a couple of drunks before the game just for the hell of it. Say, why don't we really show those KC coaches who's the boss? If we think tehy make a bad call, we'll just pound some sense into 'em. And afterwards, I can teach you all about how to harrass the cops while being processed." "sure, dad. whatever"

unfrigginbelievable.

But the thing I read that really upset me is this:
Kansas City was on its way to just its fourth win in 17 games.....

:( *sigh* sometimes it's hard being a KC fan. :( As if their record this year isn't bad enough, fans have to go beating up on them.....

They need to release their names and addresses in order for them to meet justice in the city! Until you inflict some serious damage on these types of losers this will happen again.
