WTF? Was able to OC and Orthos for 17hrs...now I can't even even POST?

Got an E8500, managed to OC it to 3.8GHz, ran Orthos fine for 17+ hours - http://lh6.ggpht.com/_zRGfVDH0...prc/e8500_3800mhz.jpg) - and now when I try to push for 3.9, 4.0, or even try 3.5 or anything above stock 3.15, the bios will not POST (simply reboots to default). Anyone know why this is happening?

two above stock, I think 1.265

really sorry to hear this. same thing happened with my Q9550. worked at 4.2 for a day and now won't go above 3.7.

I'm going to pull the CMOS battery out of my mobo and give it a shot...

Was your NB overheating? Heat can cause long-term damage to the northbridge, they don't throttle like CPUs do when they overheat. Instead, they just take the damage.
