for some reason my cpu wont take anyvolts aove 1.75 NO MATTER WHAT FREQUENCY!!! what the hell is happeneing, temps are 37( i can go into bios shortly but then lcks up..) why god???? its a nf7, tbred B dlt3c and a slk-800 W/ shin estu and a YS adjustable fan...thanks!!

hey, i have a energmax one, i forget model but 33A on 12 44 on 5 and 38 on 3.3 so iknow i have enough powa!!! sorry for the late reply i went out of town.... i like my name too 🙂

I'd RMA before doing that mod to a NF7. 1.75v is fairly mild and that over current protection feature being described is for exceeding 1.9v which is more than is generally considered safe for .13 AMD CPUs anyways.. If the NF7 won't allow at least 1.85v I'd RMA it as it's most likely defective.

well my 8rda had this problem too..... any ways, here's the thing, i took a albatron GPU cooler used AS adheasive to put it on, then later took it off and drilled holes soi could use paste but there is some AS adheasive residue left on there, could i sand it off or not??? also i took the stock NB cooler and epoxied it onto the SB and cut the wire's then extended them and put em on ( so i could plug the fan in) so would i hafta get a new cooler or what???? also i have heatsinks on the mofsets but they are stickied ons o ithose would be no problem..... do u think i could cover ALL of that up, AND would they allow 1.75 as a max volt as a valid RMA excuse?
