WTF? US army blows up donated cadavers in land mine testing

Military researchers have been using cadavers for years in different projects, many of which involve explosive devices.

But some experts said the military's use is questionable as donors did not expect their loved one end up being blown up.

They use donated cadavers at body farms to find out back decomposition. At least this sounds better then when the US army was doing head trauma testing with live cats.

when you're dead, you're dead. You won't care if your body has been blown up anyway at that point. And I guess this is the best way to do a live test to see how the new weapons affect human tissue.
