So I'm lounging on the couch on my iPad and decided to check out what was coming on TV tonight. I pulled up the i.TV app and was flipping through when I came across Black Shopping Channel.



Flipped on over and sure enough, the Black Shopping Channel in full effect. It looked/sounded like the public access version of QVC.

So who else has their own shopping channel? Is there a Mexican Shopping Channel or an Asian Shopping Channel? ;)

it is a free country, you are free to give your business to whomever you choose and not be labeled anything. I imagine lots of people do exactly that. I imagine that they do not care what they are labelled either. besides whites and blacks are not on anything near an even playing field to start with so IMHO black people can and do many things that white people can't. did I just open a can of worms with that last sentence?

Many here, and it seems elsewhere, LOVE to pull the, "well, I'd be called a racist if I did/said that!" "I'm so oppressed being a white man in this country!"

As a black male, I find the whole "We're being oppressed, whites are keeping us down" attitude to be a cop-out.

Blacks are not inferior to whites and blacks can achieve just as much as whites... You just need the motivation and drive to succeed instead of blaming your failures on everyone else.
