I'm listening to "Today" and so called "Expert on Video Game Violence" Jack Thompson says that the sniper's "marksmanship" is indicative of a person who learned how to kill with skills gained from games like Counter-Strike in particular. I could not believe what drivel I was listening to. This guy is basically blaming counter-strike for training the sniper! What crap! I'm no marksman, but is sniping in a video game anything like sniping in real life? I'd hazard to say absolutely NOT. How do these crackpots get on TV?
GAH!
*EDIT* My bad a bit of repost, you can follow and earlier thread here.
