Actually, the aging population is a major concern in Europe. At the current birth/death rate, Italy will cease to exist in less than 50 years.

I've heard that soon immigration will once again be welcomed all over. Interesting. The US went through much more welcoming times when uor population was low. As we continue to age and continue to have lower birth rates...who knows? Maybe people's attitudes will change.
