WTF - Started WarCraft III on new LCD and got 'OUT OF RANGE' error

Screen went black and a blue OUT OF RANGE erorr appeared. What the hell? Is that because i used the nvidia refresh rate fix when i had the CRT?

Probably, reset everything to their defaults.

Just resetted default driver settings via RivaTuner - no change. What else can i try?

Can you get to the main menu?
If so, change the game display properties to something more friendly

What resolution is the game set to ? If it's over that of your monitor's max res, that could explain what's going on.

My roomate had the same problem when he borrowed a 15' lcd, after his 17' CRT exploded. Half life was set too high for the monitor, and the same happened.

some monitors have their own drivers. find those for ur lcd and try them. i used to have that problem with starcraft on my crt. found drivers. problem solved.
