Ha ha, shows you what they think of the intelligence of their consumers. I've never spent over $40.00 for tennis shoes, and even that's too much!

I'm along those same lines. I never pay over $50. Last pair of shoes I got were a pair of Addidas at The Shoe Department for $49.95. Heck, I picked up these nice leather St. John's Bay shoes for $15 last week (free shipping as well). I love a good shoe bargain :D

Yeah, that's more like it. I used to live in tennis shoes... hell, I still do! But, I spend a good portion of the day in work oxfords, so I pay the freight for good ones. $50.00 is the minimum they can be had for.

The rim replica deal is an alliance with Lexani, a high-end rim maker. Dada will have the Lexani name on the shoe rims, while Lexani markets the real 26-inch Sprewell spinning rims -- which cost about $8,500 for a set of four.

"It's a natural partnership," said Lexani president Frank Hodges. "We're trying to reach the same type of urban youth consumer that Dada has been able to reach."

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Yea, cuz little Johnny can really afford to spend 8K on rims, when he probably doesn't even have his own car yet...

LilT: Whatchoo driving J?
LilJ: Nike beatch...
LilT: fo shizzle.. I'm fronting these Dada's.
LilJ: You're fronting dollars??
LilT: Nah... Da-das..
LilJ: ohhhh... Ladas....

Yea... I can see it...

/me shakes head...

:D Maybe we should point'em this way -----> M4H's Favoritest Store in the Whole wide GTA... :D

Best line from the article:

"This shoe is going to be very relevant on the street," Willis said. "But it's not some fashion gimmick, it's a basketball performance shoe."

How is a spinning "rim" sewn into the side of the shoe not a fashion gimmick?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Kobe design his shoe after the Audi??

BTW...those shoes (Sprewell) are ugly. In fact, I'd never wear Dada's.

i know sprewell sells racing products, so maybe he just thought it was a natural extension?

Okay, I have to admit I really like those spinning rims. I think they look extremely cool on SUVs, not that I'd personally spend the insane amounts of money to get them. But to put them on a shoe... oh man, that's silly. Dada is way into that kind of thing, though. Like those shoes with the wood grain trim.

probably so, considering he was the one that started the whole spinning rims thing.
