yeah i saw that...but that took some work by him to find the right TV codes

this one automatically cycles through all tv power codes till it finds the right one, i cant imagine them charging more then $5-$10 either

lemme tell you, if he ever tries that in a brit pub and someone notices it, he'll suffer.

I had a Casio watch that act as a TV/VCR remote.... All you need is the make of the TV/VCR and then enter in the code... after that you can basically do everything a normal basic remote can do (ie. Turn on/off, change channel, volume, etc)...

I should dig that watch up and have some fun with it 😛

it will be cool if it can be programed into a universial remote so i dont have to enter all thoes damn codes

I remember reading a thread about that, was it you screwing around in that restaurant? 😛

Yeah, there's been remotes built into watches for ages.

Hell, get a universal remote for five bucks. They have the same "feature" in the form of "code search" 😛

haha no, I haven't wore that watch since I was a teenager (come to think of it, I feel old).... I think it's sitting in my desk drawer, and I'm sure the battery is dead already....

I read this on chubbywallet.....they said to go to bestbuy/circuit city to turn off all the TVs hahahahah. or can I get a discount on this tv? it seems to turn off every few minutes.

Wonder what the range is on these.

Keep turning the neighbors tv off and on during the night to freak them out 😀

it only turns it off. No on yet.

Well thats no fun unles they are watching something 🙁

I suppose it would be highly amusing to do so in a sports bar during the game but only if you can do so without attracting attention to yourself. I'm sure the ensuing confusion would be well worth the purchase price.

Well, actually... Some Universal remotes are like free after rebate, right?

Hmm sounds like I should pick one up.
