WTF. Snowy Slushy Sh!t falling from the Sky.

in KC, we got dumped on with 7" of snow last night - one of our trees fell from the weight (extremely wet snow on a tree with some leaves left == bad) and blocked our driveway...

now it's nearing 40 out and the sound of rushing water and plopping snow is in the air....

/ah, the midwest...

This Afternoon
Rain changing to snow inland and rain continuing near the lake. Windy. Snow accumulation 1 to 2 inches well inland mainly grassy surfaces. Highs 35 to 40. Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph

Left the house & drive 25 miles to Fry's Downers Grove, IL. Chickened out after 2 miles and turned around back home. Cars all over La Grange road and traffic is terrible. :disgust: No Hot Deals for me today. Looks like I'll have to sit this one out. :frown:
