From NOAA:
AT 10:10 AM, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ALONG WITH
TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS CONTINUE TO TRACK SEVERAL GUSTY SHOWERS.
THESE SHOWERS ARE PRODUCING A VARIETY OF PRECIPITATION TYPES,
INCLUDING ICE PELLETS. WIND GUSTS OF 45 TO 50 MPH WILL ALSO
ACCOMPANY SOME OF THESE SHOWERS. ISOLATED THUNDER AND LIGHTNING
CANNOT BE RULED OUT WITHIN SOME OF THE STRONGER ACTIVITY.
THESE SHOWERS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO.
Strange weather alright, must be some freak storm from the atlantic blown in, (Out the window I see less volume of snow now, but flakes still good sized, the winds bringing them in are not as strong, guess it's over)
