WTF: Prices at newegg seem to have jumped this week

Did i miss something in the news for pc parts to jump in price.

after browsing for system parts for the past few weeks i came to check to see if they went lower and BOY was i SHOCKED!! my A8N32-SLI Deluxe went up nearly 30$ and my opt 165 went up 10$. now thats a huge leap for just 1 week.

ALso noticed what seems component prices seem to hvae risen in general not just on those 2 above parts. what boat did i Miss??

The stuff I bought over the last couple of months is now cheaper than what I paid.

How does the world know that I already bought the stuff?
