WTF! Platinum Member ?

I still stand by my opinion that member status should have the factor of how long you've been a member.

I disagree Val.....lots of people have registered.....well, quoting "over a year ago (in October '99 to be exact) when the BBS reopened", posted little, and now you say that they should be awarded for registering early and saying nothing?

All in all it would be best if all sorts of factors like registration date, posts and posts / day could be taken into consideration.....but all in all, who cares? the people who should earn a title are known by the regs of the forums, so stop worrying about people being overlooked

I think ive made over 200 posts in the last week .. an its only brought my average up to like 2.19 (went a while without visiting after we moved) ... I think its a pretty good system .. and it encourages people to contribute to the forum ...

i think the point Valhalla1 was trying to make is that if you posted 3000 times in the first week you joined then your status shouldn't shoot up to platnuim etc

valhalla's idea would just not be feasible, thats why we have mods and stuff, usually "we" notice the nefs who are just trying to post to increase their post count. hell, i did 3000 post in one month, and nobody knew about it. muahahaha
