So I need a rental car in Tampa, and this is the rate?! *&$&#(@!

Guess I should check Travelocity or something.

Or does anyone know of good reliable car rental place in FLA?

try the mainstream sites = budget.com or enterprise.com or hertz.com

you shouldnt have to pay more than 50 for a day for a nice midsize car.

Well, it is around Christmas time. Avis has always treated me well, so I use them whenever possible.

priceline is the best for car rentals...last time for a car in NYC everyone(expedia, the rental companies, travelocity) had about $80 a day, and from priceline i was able to get like $30-$35 a day!

I just quoted a Hertz rental today and it was something like $50 for a couple days.
