WTF Our cats do NOTHING around this house

Meow. Eat. Sleep. I'm so tired of it. I come back from the pool after sweating in the sun or I get up in the morning at 10:30 am and what do I see? A lazy cat doing NOTHING. I'm tired of it and these cats better starting pulling their own weight. They expect us to keep their food and water bowl full but I don't see them going to the store to buy it. And do they think money for kitty litter grows on trees?!

When we bought the first cat in the petstore she promised to keep the apartment clean and cook meals for us but after a few days that slowed down and now it's like pulling teeth just getting her to empty the dishwasher.

My boss' cat does things the old-fashioned way. No comfy house for him, no sir. He's an outdoor cat born and raised. Never steps foot inside the house. He sleeps in the garage if its cold or raining, and doesn't mind stalking some prey if the food bowl outside is empty (or if it was raided by coons the previous night.)

I tend to agree, but cats have many uses just by laying there.

1. They collect dust instead of it going to the window blinds
2. They, with some motivation of their owners, can clean wood/tile floors
3. They do look content and remind us that most of our worries don't really matter.
4. They waste less Oxygen by not being active.
5 They are better targets sitting still.
