So im in the process of ripping all my cd's to mp3 when 2 minutes into one of them, the cdrw starts making a LOUD (and i mean LOUD ASS) banging noise as i hear it rev up....

Now the cd is toasted, completely scratched up and unreadable...

Is this common for high speed drives?

if the cd was unbalanced yes, cuz at high speeds, the cd would begin to wobble and hit the laser.

same thing goes for cars, if a wheel gets caked with like 100lbs of mud, and a lot of it is in one spot, your car will start to rattle, and shake causing some damage to other parts

How does that disc tattooing work? I want to get it for that feature alone...but what formats do the pictures need to be in?
