Turn it in and get a Creative, or Sony or just about ANYTHING that isnt Apple.
Despite all the commercials their products really arent all that great, just popular.

You're a lifer and you've been here since 2001. How in the heck could you think that?!?
Look at all the people we had getting into virtual fist fights dicussing the PS3vsWIIvsXBOX360.

All things considered, I would actually take an iBook over an iPod, and I've already owned one of each. Returned them both after 24 hours and was not suprised by either.

LOL, you know what they say about "fool me once........" After owning three iPods in the past (3G 15GB being the latest) I swore off iPoops for good and havn't regretted it once.

Well that was a false alarm. whoa, i thought these solid state nanos were almost indestructable (a rememeber a review where a guy threw it and ran it over with car and it still worked). This is my first mp3 player, and I've never personally know anyone who had one, but since i got it 2 friends have gotten Zunes. They are really sweet. The magnetic earbuds are icing on the cake. If the 3 song thing gets amended, it'd be the best portable player. that is if the hardware stands the test of time.

Yep. Hold down menu and select until you see the Apple on the screen. Profit.

Mine exhibited the same behaviour after I left it plugged into a USB hub and rebooted my PC. The boot froze before it posted, I think it thought the iPod was a USB boot device or something? No clue, but it's working fine now.

This thread is now an iPod/Apple bashing thread.

<--I have three iPods, a 40GB and two Nanos and never had any trouble with any of them.

My creative mini muvo tx did the exact same thing. I just reset and updated the firmware and it was back up and running fine.
