WTF? My laptop just turned my TV on via it's infared.

XP had a BSOD and all of a sudden my TV turned on. When the computer turned restarted the TV turned back off. WTF!?!? 😕

The infrared ports on my comptuer and a colleague of mine's always connect and make weird noises. It did this for like 2 weeks before we figured out why our computers wree making strange noises.
