I just discovered in the BIOS that I was running 200MHz FSB and 4x HT. That makes for a HTT speed of 800, right? Well my mobo's rated 1000, so I guess the question is how can this happen? I don't think I've ever reset the BIOS... does it come like that out of the box?

Oh well. Doesn't matter much, I'll just crank up the multiplier to 5x the next time I boot.

If you put in to Auto it'll be set to 5x automatically. Or you can set it to 5x manually. I had that board, it has no problem running at 1GHz HTT.

If you are in fact still at 200 HTT, then raising it to 5x will work. But you won't see any actual perfromance increase.

Now since you have a 3000+ and the Neo2, running it at 200 HTT is almost a crime. Both your MB and CPU were made to be OC'd. Not doing so is a shame. :)
