Inspired by Red Squirrel's parody audio thread. In which videogames101 posted this link to a supposed $50,000 ac power cable. LOL right? So I though, this has to be just someone trolling. Well the more I looked into it the more I was sure it was trolling. Here's the guy I'm assuming who bought the cable, this is on another forum.

Another one of that guy with his "$50k" audio cable. No idea if this guy is connected to the Coconut Audio company or not.

Yeah. You know, I'm still not 100% sure that coconut audio cable site is a fake. I'm like 90%, but I'm sure there are enough idiots out there that you could actually have such a company.

I remember that guy from a while ago. As far as I know it's all legit, but the guy is a pro comedian.

There comes a point of diminishing returns. The album will never sound better than the studio master played on the studio's equipment. Your $6 million solid gold speakers won't do any better than their $1000 set of monitors.

That guy in the pics is pretty hilarious.

He was just having fun with those that thought his power cord purchase was outlandish....which it was but more power to him if he can afford it. :)

that's Patrick, he's the guy behind coconut audio too.
he got banned from head-fi and possibly some other forums when he started spamming people with his ear vitamin/training regiment ads.

Did you look at the products that website advertises? You're telling me that people are going to pay hundreds of dollars for a rock you hang on the connector on the back of your receiver?

If you like the $800 rock you should try the $1200 rock! It makes your music sound more soothing! :D

Power cables you can mold into the shape of snakes? :D

i liked the later one where he put the cables up for sale so he could pay his car payment and rent. cant remember where i read it tho.
