Yeah, I noticed that too when I was up there this summer. It's the same way in Rhode Island. Strange.

Are they upgrading their regular coffee, or are they adding flavored coffee?

I used to pass 5 of them on my way to work (NJ)

my wife did a consumer research thing for coffee for "a major fast food chain" a few months ago, I guess this is it. She said the coffee was pretty good.

McDonalds is upgrading their coffee to pull in more consumers -- in an attempt to sell them a nice, greasy breakfast meal. That's their only reason for upgrading their coffee.

well its gotten better recently ....

Actually, it could be a year or so before we start seeing the improved coffee within the McDonalds restaurants. The information on the radio indicated that it wouldn't be a quick rollout.

i know, but this is the 2nd time they've "improved" their coffee

McDonald's coffee blows compared to DD... and DD dones't make it 20 degrees hotter than it needs to be, like McDonald's does.
