OK NM I got the flywheel off and did what I needed to. Now the question is...do I have to do anything special to get it back on?
I put everthing back together, and the thing won't start. When I crank it, it first jumps then stops, then it cranks, but it seems a little slower. I thought it might be the battery, but I jumped it and it still did the same thing. Please help!
Is there a good connection at the starter itself? Wire brush any corrosion away from the terminal and connector. Is there a relay? That may have corrosion inside. Can you jump straight to the starter, bypassing the tractor's battery and relay? This may have been the problem from the start.
