American Idol is painful to watch because of this.

all the douchnozzle teenagers showing up saying "I'm gonna sing Proud Mary by Tina Turner!"

or the same with Dolly's song.

pisses me off all the time.

Girl I work with actually got upset when creedence's proud mary came on over pandora....she was like "do any of these bands actually write their own songs or do they just copy others?" Massive ownage ensued.
