WTF.....just been readin mechBgon's virus thread

one of his tips was to make a limited account for a daily driver...that way if you do get infected it cant override too much stuff due to the limited nature of the account

so i go to control panel->user accounts and just about to click make new account when i see this

wtf is ASP.Net and why has it made itself an account?

not sure...it seems ASP needs that account to work properly, so i guess it wouldnt work anymore if you just deleted it

i thought that account is only used to run ASP pages being served by your IIS server. It should also be a user level(limited access) account.

Wow, thanks for this thread! I would have missed mechBgon's thread as I rarely visit software. I hate going to a limited account, but I'd hate getting exploited more.
